I never realized the need for a rice cooker until my wife brought one into our marriage from her college days. This review is me getting this to replace that tiny little guy, bless him for his work. The 5 quart size is what initially grabbed my attention - not too big and not too small. And talk about multifunction! There are 18 in total, dealing with different rices, grains, and even cooking functions like slow cooking, steaming, and sauteing. This is a machine that can take the place of several appliances at once, and in a day and age where you can never have enough counter space, that is a game changer. The three functions I use the most on this are quick rice, steam, and slow cook. In the normal process, the machine takes six steps to cook the rice. The quick rice function skips several of these to make the process truly as easy as pushing a button. I make a lot of dishes starting with raw veggies, and since steaming versus boiling is nutritionally preferred, I am able to make healthy dishes stay healthy. Throwing a slow cooker into the mix is an awesome extra!

Belkin - Thunderbolt 4 5-in-1 Core Hub - Gray
I have enjoyed various Belkin products over the years, and this product is once again no disappointment. It is a perfect hub if you have a laptop and want to be able to switch to a monitor system quickly and efficiently. It is small and lightweight, but still has enough power and capability to keep me satisfied as a gamer and a professional Amazon shopper. This product is Thunderbolt 4 certified by Belkin and boasts up to 40Gbps data transfer speeds. It comes with a 150W power supply unit, which is more than enough power to keep all four Thunderbolt ports ready for lightning fast data transfer and charging. I love that it comes with an additional USB-A port to add additional devices easily if I wish. It also comes with a built-in overcurrent protection to prevent issues with power surges. I also figured out you can do what they call a “daisy chain” and add up to 6 Thunderbolt equipped devices. It blew my mind, and truly makes the opportunities endless! We will see what kind of messes I can make with this device as I add onto it with each and every paycheck, haha

Whenever a new version of anything comes out, there are always newly added features and improvements, Photoshop Elements being no exception. Many options have been simplified, such as adding text, making photo reels, color matching, sky/background swapping, and one-click edits. Premiere Elements adds easy photo enhancement, Adobe Sensei AI editing, new templates, streamlined organization of photos and videos, and app/mobile access. These two products bundled together make for the ultimate editing package!
As a self-proclaimed dingus when it comes to Photoshop, I enjoy the guided edits feature as I learn the program. I also love Pet Perfection, a one-stop edit which targets reflective eyes, blurry movements, and general sharpness. My absolute favorite feature is that there is no monthly subscription needed! This is a one time buy and has already saved me quite a bit of cash. Elements is meant to be for those who are just beginning their journey into photo and video editing and has been incredibly helpful to me so far.

This accessory makes life so much easier when traveling. I find I have a smoother ride with less anxiety and worry, even on those pesky 10 hour road trips back to my hometown. The display is clean and clear with no question what I am looking at, making life easier when I only have a split second to take my eyes from the road. Bluetooth capability creates seamless connectivity to the app, making things easily hands free. Anything that needs to be done by hand while driving can be done with the simple push of a button without taking eyes from the road. This model also has a magnetic mount so the accessory can be removed to prevent theft.
My favorite feature is the Autolearn Intelligence. It helps block false alarm alerts (which happen more often than you might think) with a built-in GPS and software that learns over time. The app that goes along with this accessory has SO many cool features, including a constantly updated database with new red light cameras/speed traps, help from others who also use the app for detection, and much more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love watching critters in their natural habitats, and was super excited to see Best Buy sell this product! Essentially, this is a bird feeder with a hi-res camera that uses AI technology to identify the visitors at your bird feeder. The feeder is lightweight, weatherproof, and designed with the safety of birds in mind. Bearing all of this information in mind, wifi and a smartphone with app access are necessary prerequisites. The feeder is wireless and has a rechargeable lithium ion battery which lasts me anywhere from 5-10 days, depending on the frequency of pictures taken.
One of my favorite features is being able to see other people’s Bird Buddy footage around the world! I think it is so cool to be able to check out someone else’s footage from places that are unlike my own, i.e. tropical climates. There are also tons of add-ons that can be purchased separately, such as a wall mount, solar roof, and a perch extender (which is very useful for the chubbier visitors). Set-up is easy, account creation as well!
I would recommend this to a friend!

You know the kind of ice this thing makes - the perfect, crunchy nugget ice that we all love and crave. I love having fresh ice on hand, as well as saving the freezer space for other food rather than ice trays or a big ice maker. I have been through a few ice makers over the years, but this is my favorite one so far. At the point of turning the machine on with room temperature water, it takes around 15 minutes to get a fresh batch. The ice melts over time and that melted water is recirculated to remake ice cubes, so there is pretty consistently a full container of ice.There are also a few model choices and accessories, including bluetooth capability and/or an XL water tank.
For all of its pros, there are a few cons. It is a little big/bulky and takes up quite a bit of counter space, so be sure you measure for it. The white LED light is quite bright as well, and tends to light up the area at night. It can sometimes also be a little noisy, but that is fairly normal for automatic ice makers. Other than that, it is a solid GE appliance that I would recommend to a friend.

I am always on the lookout for an epilator that does not break or lose charge quickly after a handful of uses, and was pleasantly surprised with this product. It only takes about two hours to fully charge and lasts over a few uses for me. It is fairly easy to disconnect and change the heads/accessories, so no worries about snapping or breaking delicate clips. This epilator also works on wet or dry skin - I prefer my skin to be wet, which makes some traditional epilators pretty useless, but this product still gets nice and close to the skin. It gets even the shortest hairs (as short as 0.5mm!!) and gets the job done quicker than any other epilator I have ever used, which makes much more sense when you read that it has 32 tweezers. It even has a small built-in LED light so you know you are not missing any hairs. The value for this product is unmatched too! As long as it is kept gently clean with the cleaning brush, this product should hopefully stand up over time better than other models I have used in the past.

As a self-proclaimed survivalist, let me tell you that quality solar energy converters/generators are hard to come across. Enter the Jackery Explorer! This generator comes with a small solar panel that is moveable from the battery itself and has the ability to directly convert the solar energy to an AC wall charger, USB-A and C ports, and a car lighter port. At only 11 pounds, this is one of the lightest solar generators I have ever encountered, and we all know weight adds up when you’re carrying everything on your back for your trip. Along with this is the noise it creates while it is on, but it is actually pretty quiet, as far as generators go.
The most interesting thing about this generator is the ability to connect to wifi or bluetooth through a phone app to control the battery! I have never seen anything like this before, and it was a pleasant surprise. Along with being waterproof, dust-resistant, and quick-charging (around 2 hours with an AC charging connection), this is a solid investment for an explorer who always wants to be prepared on their journey, wherever they go.

I finally have found a printer that is perfect for my infrequent printing I need to do at home! This printer has the technology of using liquid inks in refillable tanks instead of the traditional ink cartridges. The traditional cartridges typically dry out very quickly, definitely within a year's time period. It comes with “two years of ink”, which should be more than enough for me. I am really curious to see if the ink truly holds up for the amount of time it says.
Besides this technology, this printer boasts crisp, sharp printing of images and text alike. It is wifi enabled, and combined with the HP app, printing is even a breeze from your mobile device. I buy and sell a lot of baseball cards from my phone, and it is so much easier to print all of my labels quickly and conveniently from my phone. The ink bottles lock into place while refilling the printer, making messy spills pretty nonexistent. All in all, I appreciate a printer where the ink will not dry up quickly as with normal cartridges. I would gladly recommend this product to a friend!

I was so excited to finally find a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner that is actually lightweight (less than nine pounds), small (just a touch bigger than a cubic foot), and still has a decently long hose (over four feet). I have always had pets in my life and this machine is absolutely perfect for their small, infrequent messes. It is simple to set up and even easier to use. The instructions are clear, and the cleaner is easily manageable by one person.
I really liked all of the extra tools this unit came with: there is an integrated crevice tool, a 3.5" reversible bristle tool (brush bristle and rubber bristle), pet tool (one with special tank attachment), and a hose clean tool. For detergent, this unit uses something called StainStriker technology; two bottled solutions are mixed and activated within the machine and help eliminate stains and odors quickly and efficiently. Saying this, there is no need to premix a solution beforehand, making life a whole lot easier. They each get added to their clearly marked areas on the machine as well.
