Product works, but really not efficient. The split in the middle hinders those looking for speed when typing.

I get no sound. What speakers do you recommending for this monitor?
There is no speaker, you will need to purchase some.

After connecting my new monitor, I cannot get it to power on. What is happeningI

Why won't it turn on? I have connected to two different power sources with no luck. Surely the monitor is not defective (ha ha)!
I am sure that the monitor is working properly. Try rechecking your cords and try again. It may well be your tower.

Is this monitor also used as a computer, or do I need to purchase a tower?

I know nothing
You will also need to purchase the desktop as well.
