I keep making the mistake of trying other brands as the newer technology comes out, think that they will get closer to Samsung but doesnt happen!
I tried 2 other respectable brands for my 2nd set for bedroom but had to return for various reasons.
The image performance on this tv is dynamic, accurate and even from scene to scene, channel to channel and program to program. Very consistent performance. Truly worth the difference on price if you want the best performance on the market for the price!

I was a little hesitant to step and spend what I did for a new video card to replace my AMD RX-460 after it died at only 9 months since new.
I switched to the Nvidia based card and stepped up a couple of equivalent model steps, but I am very impressed with the improved contrast, shading, color intensity and resolution that this card has.

With a Serial ATA interface, this WD Blue WD10EZEXSP internal hard drive easily connects to your PC or Mac. The 1TB capacity offers ample space to house important files, such as pictures, videos and music.

Tried this drive and the Seagate both were dead on arrival. System would not see the drives and they wouldn't even spin up. This is not Best Buy problem. They took good care of me in the returns and exchanges.

I just bought Samsung UBd M8500 and I can see movies in a full screen I have samsung tv mu8000 can I see the movies in full screen with my Samsung ubd m8500
I have a Samsung 7100 series 4K TV and the same player as you. It does play most all the disks I have in full screen.
BUT... ( this might just be the Gotcha) if the movie is very old, it may still play in the old 4:3 ratio. My belief is that this might be controlled by the disk rather than the player..

This player fails to play 4k blue ray disks. It plays on full HD ( 1080p ) but not 4k. When I click 'info' button on my TV during 4k video playback it shows up 1080p but not 2160p. Please clarify this for me.
There could be a couple of reasons that this is happening.
The first and most important is to go into the settings of the player and check the HDMI port settings to be sure that it is set for 4K instead of 1080.
I had to do that on mine and it works great!
Second, use a cable that is at least HDMI 1.4 or higher so it will pass the much higher resolution.

Does it make a difference to the picture quality if the Direct TV cable hooks up to the connection behind the TV or in the HDMI 1 slot?
I really do not believe that you can do a direct hookup with your DirecTV to have the channels and all work properly.
I believe that you must have the DirecTV box for that hookup and then use a HDMI cable to the HDMI input in order for it to work properly.

I have the Black armor 440 NAS server. There have been multiple HHD failures on the seagate 2TB SATA 3 drives over the 3 years of service.. Will the WD Model: WDBMMA0020 work in this server as a replacement to the failing seagate and work beside the existing Barracuda drives.
