I use this as an extension monitor for my laptop at work, so I didn't need HDMI inputs. Works great and no dead pixels or light leakage. Recommended if you need a VGA input monitor.

What's great about it: Right length cord for me.
What's not so great: cord might be too short for some GPS use.
We use this with our GPS in a GMC Envoy. Perfect length and cable configuration for us, but may seem too short for some. Good strain relief at USB connector. LED is not too bright. Like it!

How loud is this product?

Mine is very quiet. It sits beside my desk at work and I don't notice it cycle on and off. Works great, too.

is this fridge black or silver?

The one I got was black on the sides and top with a brushed stainless appearing front panel on the door. Door trim is black plastic. Very nice.
