This router was easy to setup and worked out of the box. I like the fact that it can lay flat or stand up with the provided "foot." I really like that the USB on the back that can be used to connect a storage device with the provided Genie tools. Lights are a bit bright--I used LightDims to cover them and take it down a notch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

will this router work with my laptop using verizon dsl

Chances are good that yes, it will work with your DSL. You'll need to connect it via ethernet, but these devices are pretty agnostic (assuming somewhat contemporary equipment from Verizon).
