I have fiber internet and it was fast in the living room where the modem and router were. I have a 2800 Sq ft 2-story house and was frustrated at how slow the internet was in the bedrooms, kitchen, upstairs, anywhere else in the house. I hesitated to spend this much on a router, but now we can stream TV and play games anywhere in the house. My son can even watch YouTube on WiFi on his phone while he waits for the school bus across the street in the morning. The price was equal to about 2 months of my cost for fiber internet, and it turned out to be worth it for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do i need an actual PC or Mac to set this router up or can i use the App on my phone?

I used the phone app. It was very easy. Easier than routers/ modems I've bought in the past.

I have no Wi-Fi in my home if i get the netgear will i be able to whatch netflix on my tv?

You'll need internet service and a modem first. If you connect this router to an internet-connected modem, you can watch Netflix on a smart tv. If you don't have a smart TV, you'll need a streaming box or dongle like Roku, Apple TV, fire TV, or chrome cast.

I have frontier internet. Currently using their ADSL2+modem router. If I bought this and sent theirs back would they charge me less for service? I'm assuming I must be paying rent for using their device. And is this device a good replacement for theirs.

can i connect my cable from the wall to this unit?

No, you need a modem to connect to your cable. This is a router that connects a modem to your devices.

If you're asking about a landline phone connection, the answer is no.

Is the router connected to the motum,my motum is not wifi supportive so will this work

Yes, a router connects to a modem to make wifi possible. A classic modem needs a router to connect devices to the internet. There are modem-router combination devices.
