Mixing Cleaning Solution In Water Tank

I have seen different reviews and comments talking about mixing the cleaning solution directly in the tank. If you do that, how does the 'RINSE' function work? Wouldn't you be 'rinsing' with soapy water and not water alone? Thanks.

Separate chambers on the tank. Simply turn knob to select either clean water or solution mix.
