Very quiet and incredibly economic on water use (filling it half way gave me a week of humidified 6 hr nights). Equally easy to clean
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it make a loud noise when it's running?

I hear a periodic gurgle when it does another water uptake but it's more like a drain unclogging...3 rooms away. It happens about once every few hours and only one gurgle. And I only hear it if I'm awake (the vaporizer is right next to my bed)
