The price is great, and the performance is good. Sound is a little bit low even when turned up all the way, but it is not a problem unless you have to have your music blaring.

I bought this to replace my overpriced cable. It worked ok for most channels in the center of the house, but worked best near a side window. We are about 20 miles from the nearest broadcast antenna.

How is the memory configured at the factory?

I have seen reports on the www that the model 500-314 "...comes with a single 8 Gbytes card..."
installed in one of the 4 DIMM sockets on the motherboard ; the other 3 slots are unpopulated.

That would mean that it isn't capable of dual channel memory reads/writes., a 50% reduction in performance. It would use only half of the bus connecting the microprocessor to the memory . Why have a quad-core processor with such a crippling performance limitation ?

Clarify, please. How many memory cards (and each card's capacity) are factory-installed in the HP Pavilion 500-314?
Mine came with only one 8Gb card

Is this any good for casual gaming?

Is this computer any good for casual gaming (Minecraft, TF2, etc.)? Is the radeon R7 decent (for integrated graphics)? Would this be better than Intel 4000 Integrated graphics?
I have used it for Minecraft, Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Goat Simulator, and some others, all with great performance. I'm not sure about the comparison to the 4000.

does this cartridge come in a High Capacity version

will the 21 switch up to a high capacity version so as to not run out so fast
the 54 is the larger capacity black.
