Awesome device if you are a Prime member to get your movies/shows onto your TV and you do not want to use gaming console/BluRay/TV apps. BluRay/TV apps can be very slow, mostly because of the device, not the app. Using a laptop requires a long HDMI cable and when on sale this is about twice the price and you get a remote.
I have a Chromecast and bought this just to try and found the remote to be useful. However if you have another way to get Amazon app (like a gaming console) to your TV then you may not need this. Regardless, it does support 5Ghz 150mbps wireless (perhaps even 300). It doesn't heat up as much as the Chromecast, but it does prefer to be run using it's included or good AC USB adapter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In suburban neighborhood testing I was able to use it reliably about quarter mile away or about 2 blocks. With the chirp function you can get 1/3 of a mile.
Indoors, at a stadium or a park, including the wilderness it goes much farther. I can imagine when used handfree that's it's useful for businesses.
Overall though in it's price range its one of the better built units. It feels far more expensive and uses soft touch buttons wisely. It's plenty loud, can be used even as a baby intercom, and you can use alkaline batteries. Amazing value for what you get these days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2. Maybe, you can install Amazon apps and if there is an app that supports it. Other options is installing Android on the stick.
4. Regular Fire TV remote has a built in mic. TV Stick lacks that and is VERY useful. You can get around finding shows by preparing a playlist ahead of time on your PC.

Do these come with a belt clip and ear piece?

Do these come with a belt clip and ear piece? Both are musts, don't think they do, but wanted to verify.
Belt clip - yes. Ear piece - no, but it is a standard plug.
