I needed a small tripod to set my Canon FS10 to film presentations and meetings. I only use it as a tripod and haven't tried to bend the legs much. But as a tripod it is very stable and uses a single knob to lock the camera in all directions. That is fine for my needs.

We purchased this TV to mount on the conference room wall to expedite review meetings and to eliminate copying and distribution of reports. It works well. We can display photos of jobs and zoom in and see details quickly and easily. It has been a great success. The TV has many more features that we don't use at this time. I purchased these headphones because I was traveling by air (4+ hours per trip) and had a lot of audio classes to listen to. Using regular earbuds was difficult. The sound of the engines and cabin noise caused me to rewind the audio several times to be able to hear softer parts of the class. These headphones knocked out 90%+ of the background noise. I could hear the instructor perfectly. I could even hear people dropping papers and pencils. I don't listen to a lot of music with them. But, what I have listened to I've found enjoyable. I think there's too much bass for my tastes compared to regular ear buds. Maybe this is a side effect of noise cancelling. I don't know. But it's not a problem. I would strongly recommend these despite the steep price.

This is a good UPS for a small server or more powerful engineering workstation. Most servers get 20 minutes of uptime which is sufficient for getting a server powered down. The downside is it doesn't come with compatible software for server operating systems. There are 3rd party programs you can use to get around this shortcoming. The cost of these programs is less than the "big brother" of this UPS which comes with "Business" level integration software.

For daily work processing and email this monitor is very good. The clarity, resolution and brightness are good for a standard office. Not as sharp as would be needed for high end gaming or CAD. But acceptable if not used for this purpose full time.

We use a series of these drives for server backup. They are reasonably fast and reliable. They are really designed for home use with the many packages includes like Plex server. But for basic backup, this works well. For the "small budget", this is a good network attached storage option. Only downside is it is nearly impossible to disable/delete the public folder. But there are postings on the internet that, at least, make it write protected.

I use this drive as one of several to backup my computer. Using Acronis Home Edition, I can image my computer in 20 minutes nightly and rotate 3 drives so it one would fail or become corrupted, I would have 2 others. Perfect solution for those who don't trust "cloud backup" solutions and want instant access to their data.

What it the battery's voltage? Is there a way to hook an external battery to it to allow longer run-time?
I'd like to use it in a motorhome and have the 12 volt batteries as the back-up power source. That would allow me to run the motorhome off AC when parked and off the UPS when driving.
My experience with this is NO. I have tried using a gasoline generator to power the UPS during power outages and it DOES NOT WORK. I suspected that would be true because of the circuit design. (Square wave, sine wave, etc). But I proved it outage. Battery won't charge on generator and some devices won't even power on when the UPS is running from the generator. This is not an exact answer to your question. But I think my experience with a generator parallels your motorhome need.

is the POE ethernet connection protected against surge or this device only extend the power time?
The unit is guaranteed against surges with an insurance policy. The implication is that it protects against all surges. Most POE switches have built-in circuitry to protect the POE devices. If you have a power injector attached to the UPS, I would expect it to be protected as well. However, injectors, by their design, have little patience for wild power fluctuations. I can't say for sure if the protection would protect the injector. But I don't know why it couldn't/wouldn't. Hope this helps.

Use as a storage device for TV?
Can I leave this plugged in to my tv (while connected to Wifi) send data like movies from my laptop to this Hd drive?
Technically this is feasible. But I have never actually tried it to know for sure. Some older TV's may not allow this. And I don't know why. I've just heard from friends that they were unsuccessful.

what to do when passport did not appear on the desktop
You did not specify what kind of computer or operating system. I will presume a PC with a current version of Windows. First reboot your computer. If that doesn't work, then I would plug it into a different USB port. If you don't see any activity on the screen or the drive, I suspect the drive isn't functioning. But usually it's a USB issue. If you are technical, go into Device Manager and delete USB devices and reboot. Plug in your drive. USB devices will rebuilt and it should work. If not, seek professional assistance.

Can I backup a Windows 8.1 computer and XP computer on one external hard drive?
We have two computers, Win 8.1 and XP. Can both computers be backed up on one external hard drive?
Yes but it depends on what you are using for a backup solution. Windows 7 integrate backup is incompatible with your plan. Acronis Home Edition (and other free programs) work just fine.

can this be used as a storage directly from security cameras?
No. I would not suggest doing this. It may be technically feasible. But security cameras require a better interface speed like SATA.

Yes, you can purchase batteries on the internet from many sources. Just use the manufacturer and model #. Best Buy, to my knowledge, does not sell them. You can get replacement batteries that are equal or higher capacity. The unit ships with a 7aH battery. I've replaced units with 9aH with success. The higher capacity will provide a few more minutes of up time. The part# is usually found on the battery. It may be under an OEM label which was put on the battery for resale. In Erie, PA, there is a local battery store (Google it) that sells the replacement battery from their store front. Not as cheap as online. But, if you need it now, not an unreasonable price.
