Connection problems!

This 3TB hard drive seems to have connection issues. Just walking by the unit causes it to disconnect and become unreliable. Short of super glue, is there a better fix? What is the warranty on this unit?

but yes I have used warrenty with in the time frame allow without issues

Can I use this hard drive in my 24" iMac?

works fine on my clients and mother mac so I would suspect you shouldn't have an issue

"Desktop"? OK in a external dock, thru USB? Can reformat to format exFAT?

external POWER dock should be fine

I use NTFS partition types so NOT sure but it's is an option just never used it, why would you?

Is this a "green" drive?

I'm hearing that "green" drives are not the best choice for your boot (main) drive due to their slower performance.

they are for storage and have a slow RPM so yes that is correct - good for backup

for a main Drive I fully recommend an SSD MUCH FASTER TYPE

depends on operating system -

windows 7 64 and above should be fine.

32 bit and below version may have issues

On website for this item it describes "Hard Drive Capacity:" and then three boxes: 1GB, 3GB and 4GB. Typo that needs to be fixed?

multi sizes are available for purchase
please remember it's base 2 math so you never get the full size listed on the box it's slightly less formatted.
