What's great about it: The way tablet is held in the case, plastic clips on elastic.
What's not so great: The clip is right where my power button is.
I love it. Right color and price. The clips are are sturdy and I like the system better that just elastic on the 4 corners like some cases have. Only problem is that one of the clips is over my power button, and when the tablet moves sometimes it powers off. My solution, I stuck a toothpick along side the power button under the clip. The toothpick holds the clip away from the button, yet I can easily access the button to power on and off. It is a little ghetto looking but it works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

will the case fit a surface 2 tablet

If its a 10 inch tablet, it should. The clips are each on an elastic and can stretch in slightly different angles to accommodate any slight variations of dimensions. This would accommodate for the height and width possibly being slightly different depending on model and brand.
