Kid loves it. I enjoyed it. Another great production by Disney. Entertaining for all ages, pretty cute story line, some funny jokes. What's not to love about a cartoon plane with today's animation?

I used to do the refills or no-name brands, but had issues with them clogging my head. Granted, this may be due to temperature/environment and/or frequency of printing, I've never really had an issue with OEM cartridges. The downside to this is that I don't think the OEM cartridges print as many pages as the aftermarket, but at least my print head doesn't clog. For an overpriced (because of manufacturer, not the store) brand of ink, it does the job well!

Short version, a great substitute for spending 40$ on iBrand, not high-speed, but for a safe reason.
So here's what you have to keep in mind about any kind of off-brand charger. Your phone has a battery in it, and they are somewhat "fragile" in the sense of how you care for it. Some aftermarket "super-fast" chargers will charge your phone quickly, but at the expense of battery longevity. If the battery is charged faster than recommended, it will not last the avg 1-2 years that they normally can. It'll charge quickly for that particular instance, but kill it's life. Taking this in to consideration, this charger is not a super-fast charger, but does charge a little more slowly than an Apple charger. This saves that added stress of other chargers available. The trade-off is that it doesn't not charge super fast. On my 5s, dead to full, it's probably around about an hour to fully charge, or so? It is fast enough that I can play games while plugged in and still continue gaining battery power.
The only drawback why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of a 5 is that another trade off to pay less for a charger than an Apple brand is that the design IS cheaper. The coiled cord sometimes pulls tight on the wire coming from the power outlet at a 90 degree angle, as well as added tension near the output side that plugs into your phone. Due to this, my first one allowed the protective sleeve to pull back from the port just slightly, offering the power wires less protection, but it continued to work just fine. This is also a precaution/issue that ANY electronic device like this will face, though, and is more a user-error than manufacturers error 9/10 times. The only reason I replaced my first one is because I lost it. I bought the same one for round 2.

So I purchased this thing to record while in class, but left it in the car, so I never got to use it for its intended purpose. However, I did test it before going to class by placing my iPhone on speakerphone for a lengthy conversation just to learn how to use it. It recorded very well and clear, and was incredibly easy to use. It was easy to also transfer the sound file to the laptop in order to clear space on the recorder, or to listen to the file later for whatever purpose. Probably the coolest feature was a switch that allowed you to cut out background noise on playback. It did an extremely good job of cutting out the traffic that was in the background where I was recording, and still left the actual conversation crystal clear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

will this charge with Lifeproof case on?
While I didn't use this charger with a Lifeproof case, I did use it with the thickest otterbox you can buy for the 5s (I'm military, and very brutal with phones). If you can plug the standard iPhone charger into your charger port, then yes, this charger will plug in just fine as it's very close in design in that sense. The thing you'll have to be careful of is UNplugging the port. The hard plastic that actually plugs in to your phone may be hard to get your fingers on, leaving your to pull on the cord, which is never recommended, but sometimes you don't have a choice. I'll say I've pulled on the cord several times and it's held up pretty well with my abuse, so long as you don't try to yank it out like Thor, or at an awkward angle, you should be fine.

is it phone compatible?
I am on a lot of conference calls and would like to record them. Would I need a different cord or how would I do this?
I recorded a conversation by placing my phone on speakerphone and setting the recorder beside it and it worked very well, picking up both my voice and the voice of the person on the phone. It was also very clear. Unfortunately I'm not sure if you can get a cord to link it directly in to your phone to allow for direct recording.

How do you fast forward?
I am listening to my recordings on the digi recorder and cannot work out how to fast forward or go to a specific section of the recording. This makes transcription very difficult! Can you help?
I actually also was stuck trying to figure this one out. I couldn't figure it out, however, you can transfer the sound clip to a laptop in order to open the file in other audio/video players that would allow for this feature. Other sound recorders allow playback speed control by another brand, though I cannot recall which company does it it.

does this recorder record phone conversations
If your question is "will it record a phone conversation on speakerphone" the answer is yes, very well. If your question is can you plug it in to your phones little headset jack and record, then I'm not sure, but there are apps out there for that.
