The sound was very awesome and for the price you can't beat it as a long time owner of turtle beaches for my xbox 1 this product was good enough for my ps4 and almost $200 less you can't beat that! I WILL NEVER SACRIFICE SOUND WHEN GAMING

Low Mic Volume? My party can barely hear me talk.

I'm familiar with Turtle Beach headsets and recently purchased the PX24s. On my first day of using them (on PS4), I was told that my party could barely hear me. Naturally, I went in to the Device Settings and turned the Mic all the way up, and was told that it improved a little bit.
The last thing I tried was changing the setting on the mixer form PS4 to PC. That supposedly improved the Mic volume a good deal.

Can someone explain to me what else I can do to improve the volume at which my Mic sends traffic to my chat members?
First of all they are refurbished that's why they don't work to we'll for the price you should have invested in a new set. There is a reason for the word refurbished

Ambient noise cancellation

Does it cancel background noise? With this I mean, the fan noise of, for example, the PS4 and PC?
Yes they are great mom's hate them but that's ok
