Needed a replacement TV for large living room. Everyone compared new tv 's to the picture in a plasma. Had plasma before and liked it. After a lot of looking, purchased what everyone else was comparing to. Great but and very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Streaming in On Demand without HD

Can I stream in On Demand and Amazon Instant Video using a Smart Blue Ray player and the proper cables if I don't have a HD provider? I have Direct TV and unable to receive HD signals.
Also will the picture be just as good as if I had HD? I heard plasma runs hot...concerning?
Had no problem. Running Apple TV and a Blu Ray player. All works well, no need for TV provider. Do need WiFi for smart TV options. Runs a bit warm, but not a big issue
