Bought the headphones for 69$. Definitely the best audio quality you can get under a 100. I have owned many pairs, these win hands down for a wide music sound stage. Have a good balance of mids, highs and lows. I can wear them for hours and not get tired.
I wont recommend these to bass heads or if you mind the sound leak from the cans.
Yet to try the foam mod, don't feel like messing with them yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How do these headphones compare to the Sennheiser HD 202 headphones? I have used the HD 202 headphones daily for several years now. I haven't really ever used higher end headphones or earphones aside from the HD 202 and Apple earpods. Thanks!

I have like you used Hd 202 for a couple of years and they were fantastic. You can consider the 558s as a more comfortable 202s with a flatter and more balanced soundstage. Lesser bass, better audio range woth extremely satisfying mids. I do not regret my purchase even a bit.
