I've been using non HD TV's for as long as I can remember. This TV is much more crisp and clearer than my last one. Especially when playing on my Xbox One.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As a gamer this is the best this in the world! Compared to the Xbox 360 the Xbox One is much faster and looks leagues better. Granted the games are much bigger than 360 games. You won't run into this problem If you buy discs instead on downloading games. The entire dashboard reminds me of windows 8. I haven't had a single bad moment with this console since I've bought it. In fact, I'm currently saving up for a kinetic so I can use voice controls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can I plug in earphones to this tv

Yes you can. I plugged in my normal headphones and my Turtle Beach headset and both worked fine.

can you play the Xbox One on this?

You definitively can. I've been playing a great deal of Titanfall, Halo, and Assassin's Creed Unity and It's been a treat to look at.
