I've had and use regularly the wireless Turtle Beach X32 headphones for the xBox 360 to chat with family and play games such as Black Ops 2 and GTA V. I've purchased thus far 6 sets around the $80 range each (including tax and shipping) - 1 for me and 1 for each of my 5 nephews and nieces. The spectrum of sound that I hear through them is definitely greater/better than what I hear through my surround sound stereo system that I have connected to the xBox and certainly way greater/better than the regular sound that comes out of my tv which provides a more immersive enjoyable experience. HOWEVER, these things suck heavy juice such that I have to change into new AAA batteries about every 2 or 3 days, and that's only on about 9 to 12 hrs of use. Kids or others that use them more will be a bit frustrated when the box of batteries runs out rather fast unless rechargeable batteries are used, which I have plans to implement. The other shortcoming is that the sound periodically drops for about 3 or so seconds, then returns, when I am about 10 feet from the transmitter; when about 5 feet from the transmitter, I can't recollect ever experiencing a drop. Supposedly this is due to RF interference from other RF devices such as my router, cell phone and even TV. Less frequent, rare or no drops is more desirable. If these 2 issues weren't in the picture, I'd rate these a tier below excellent; excellent would be those headphones that produce pronouncely the faintest of sounds such as the light footsteps of an enemy so that I can trounce on him before he/she puts me down. :) I'm sure that I would get this experience/quality if I upgraded/pay more. Also needing mention is that these things press tight against the ear areas and I've experienced close to unbearable discomfort when eating with them on; I've heard this experience from at least 1 other person.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can i use this headset on PC?

can i use this headset on PC?
I think so. You'll need an adapter and an extension wire. First, you'll need the following adapter: 3.5mm Stereo Male Plug to Dual 2 RCA Female Jack Audio Adapter Y Cable; the length of the adapter depends on where you wanna locate the transmitter with respect to the location of the computer; i'm guessing a 5' adapter will do and it'll set you back about $3 on eBay. The 3.5mm plug goes into your computer's speaker out audio port; the other end (female RCA jacks) connects with the RCA male plugs coming from the wire that connects to the Turtle Beach transmitter. The extension wire you'll need will extend the chat wire coming from the headphones to your computer's mic port; the extension wire is a 3.5mm stereo male plug to a 3.5mm stereo female plug; on eBay it also runs for about $3. Good luck!

When the headset is turned on, Are you able to turn on and off the mic? And if its off, will the *mic logo* be shown in game (example, Black Ops 2)

Yes, the mic can be turned on or off and the volume adjusted via a switch located on the wire going from the headphones to the controller. And no, the mic logo shows even when the mic has switch off; however, the mic logo doesn't show if you unplug the mic cable that runs from the headphones to the controller.

Does this only work with wifi or will it work over bluetooth?

i lost the wireless adapter for my xbox, so how would this headset work with an xbox that can't go online?
doesn't it use bluetooth?
These don't work either as wifi or bluetooth. They are RF technology. A small black box the size of 1/2 a pack of cigarettes is connected by wire to your xbox and it transmits over wireless RF technology the sound to the headphones. It doesn't matter whether you can go online or not.
