Bought this to supplement the low frequency ranges that were somewhat lacking on the same tower speakers an old Sansui was played on. The new Sony receiver performs exceptional in other areas. Definitely kept me from returning the new receiver.

Replaced an old Sansui 2000 with this. Really enjoy the remote the old one lacked. Only drawback found is in the low frequency range. It does have a much better tuner and more channel separation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is the sound clear???
I have one and it has very clear sound for the price. I have found that it falls short in the punch applied in the low frequency range.
