These are great substitutes for regular heavy duty batteries but not replacements for high end alkaline batteries. Tried to use them with a small motor application, they couldn't reach the required RPM. That being said, they work great in mice and keyboards and remote controls.

With the downloaded software, this remote is a great tool for controlling your home media center. Because of the similarity of my setups, I am actually able to use this device on two different TVs and cable boxes. I also like the non-proprietary rechargeable batteries! It makes much more sense and is easy to replace or recharge in place. I wish I had gotten 3 of these in the first place.

What's great about it: Ease of use. Seemless.
What's not so great: Not as configurable as the Samsung.
I love the Apple products for the fact that they just work. I hate the Apple products because they limit my options of configuration because they are afraid I might over tweak the product or break it trying to tweak it. The protections and convenience come at the price of choices. The plus side of the protections are the safety of the App store and knowing that the device will work with the Apps selected. It is easy for my wife and I to share.

What's great about it: Easy installation and solid price.
What's not so great: I can remove the screen protector too easily. Allows some condensation on screen.
Purchased for an iPad Air. This rugged case has helped the device survive being dropped and generally keeps it from harm. For $60, it's a great insurance policy for my tablet.

I loved the hardware on this tablet. The screen is crystal clear and the processor is fabulous. Everything about this tablet is very polished and easy to migrate from an iPad to this Samsung unit. I blew away my wife when I turned off the TV with the IR blaster on it. All that being said, every app wanted to know who I was and where I was just for a game. I am not interested in giving out all my personal info to blow up a couple of pixels or solve a puzzle. This seems to be a third party issue of privacy and not Samsung's however, I did return the tablet due to this repeated experience.

What's great about it: Covers everything likely to happen to a tablet.
What's not so great: Had to get it instead of a rubberized case
I purchased this plan for my Samsung tablet, however because I couldn't get the rubberized survivor case for it I had to get the replacement plan. This plan seems comprehensive but I was glad I didn't have to use it.

My wife has both a Mac and a Windows OS run computers..
My wife uses a Mac for her creating of art type stuff and the Windows computer to run her websites. She wants to use this cloud hard drive to be able to store files to use interchangeably and also as back for both computers. Is this possible with this hard drive?
I believe the answer to your question actually lies in the file types she is using. Is she using files that cross platforms (ie .doc files for Word) or is she using MAC specific file types and trying to get them to a Windows platform? Since the Mycloud is a Linux device (Debian I believe) it simply provides a network storage area and will be OS agnostic in this regard.

I am worried that is someone can gets into the cloud and then they can have access back into my computer system or network
access back into my computer network through the cloud. Is there a way that extra security can be added to the clouds software? Maybe Bitlocker.

How many hard drives are in the 4TB unit (NAS) and can it be setup for RAID.
Does anyone know how many hard drives come inside of the 4TB unit and is the system software robust where it can be configured to run RAID
There is only room for a single 4TB WD drive in the device. I looked at a teardown of a 4TB cloud, it looked like a WD Red drive (NAS specific) and while the software on the attached board might allow for a hack to allow for a RAID configuration, there is only one SATA connection on the board and there is no room in the case for a second drive. So hacking a 4TB to make a RAID might be possible, but you would be better served to just purchase a mirrored 6TB unit or using a different unit for RAID functionality.

How do I transfer Pic's from my tablet to my computer?
There are several ways to do this, one of which is using a cloud as an intermediate. Just make sure that there is a way to get to the cloud from both the PC and tablet. In this way, you can make your photos available anywhere you log in on most devices. If you don't want to try that, try attaching your tablet to the PC with a micro USB cable and browsing the filesystem. Generally, look for files ending in .jpg and once found, they can be dragged and dropped onto a desktop or new folder for these photos.

how come this tablet does not come as a 64 gb, so you could have 128 gb
There are three probable reasons for this:
1. Costs - a 64 GB unit could be cost prohibitive and boost the price of the tablet into the $850 range.
2. Controller - there may not be enough space for the controller and chips required to make it a 64 GB device
3. No market or diminishing market for a device above 64 GB.
