I use these to skype and to enter speech to text as well as gaming and music. I can walk all over the house with them and not lose sound.

This camera gave me great framefilling moon shots handheld (without a tripod)! Macro gets ultra close, camera is easy to use. Still the low sensor noise and processing noise of a DSLR is much better for large dynamic range, but for everything else this camera is amazingly sharp for its versatility.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it works well for Skype?

I use it for skype and like it. It is not super lightweight as it encloses the ears, but that means it does not press on them.. That is a personal preference.

How well is the noise reduction?

I have breathing problems and occasionally have to breathe a bit heavier. How does this handle reduction of that when recording gameplay//on skype calls?
This seems insensitive to pop and breath noise but the best solution is a foam windscreen on this or any other mic if you are breathing heavily on it.

Lens filters for the Powershot SX530HS?

I see that the SX530HS has a clip-on lens cap. Will it also accept clip-on or screw-in filters?
Filters or lens hood can be threaded on, the threads are what the lenscap clamp grabs.

How do I set up wi-fi

Wi-fi with my iPad and iphone
Sadly it did not work for me either, despite good customer service. The rep thought mine might have a defect... but it works fine with a cable.
