Does the V600 have a selection for Kodachrome slides?
Yes. Select document type film and film type: positive film for color slides. Also recommend 4800 dpi and 48-bit color in the options for best results.

Is it easy to sort and put in folders
Not hard at all. After clicking "Scan" button you are given the option to select or create a new folder to put scans into.Also a filename and incremental numerical sequence can be created to sort and organize by name.
