This add on hub works, but not for my intended use. I had planned on adding an external drive with this hub but the PS4 requires that the external drive be plugged directly into the device and not through a hub. I was able to work around this by removing one of the modular USB jacks from the back of the hub and shifting it to the left.

Does this allow an External HD to be used thru it?

It does not. The USB plugs are modular however so you can remove one, shift the hub to the left and use the right port on the PS4 for an external drive

I just ordered a Vivosmart Hr+ tracker. I already am using an Edge 820 for cycling. Should I take off the Vivosmart while I'm riding so I don't double-count my activity?

I use my HR+ with an Edge 510. I use the HR+ for heart rate only and let the Edge track my cycling activities.

There is a dedicated screen that displays your continuous heart rate. You do have to push a button to go into broadcast mode so it broadcasts your heart rate via ANT+.

I'm not sure about the TWC App but it will not run Playstation Vue. We also tried to get rid of our cable boxes when I susbscribed to TWC but we were told we had to have at least one HD cable box on the account, so it sat in the garage, unused, until we dropped the cable tv service.

Can I use an HDMI cord can I connect my computer to this television and use it as a monitor? I already have a 32-inch Insignia that I use as a monitor via an HDMI cable. Is this prohibited with this model because it is a smart TV or Roku ready?

You could use it as a computer monitor but the resolution is only 720p.
