Easy to set up and connect. My only frustration is not being able to connect the player to my audio equipment (there's only one HDMI cable, which goes to the TV), so we have to listen through the TV speakers. Easy access to Amazon Prime and Netflix, though, and works well for Blu Ray discs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: big numbers, easy to read, good speakerphone
What's not so great: sound drops occasionally
This phone is an improvement over what we had previously -- I like the large number keypad and the speaker phone has pretty good sound. It's not real intuitive -- changing things like whether the phone speaks your caller ID is unnecessarily cumbersome. Overall, though, I'm pleased with my purchase.

What's great about it: very easy to use, good sound quality
What's not so great: menu is a little vague on screen
I really like this recorder. I've used it for interviews, recording music, and informal conversations. Sound quality is very good, even from the back of a room during a rehearsal. Very easy to connect to a PC/Mac and copy files. Very useful little gadget!

Just got this as a Christmas. Gift for myself. Very disappointed that I now have to buy amps and. Or speakers in addition. Unit is also much larger than I thought it would be. Might be returning it.

You will need a receiver or amplifier to get sound from your component CD player. It’s an excellent unit.

Yes, you’ll have connect this to a receiver and speakers to get sound from it. It is an excellent unit.

can you download what you recorded and put it on a word document

after you have recorded a lecture, can you plug in the recorder on your pc and down load the recorded lecture on to a word document.
I don't think so. When I've recorded speaking, I've transcribed the text myself.
