What's great about it: Works like it should
What's not so great: nothing
I learned my lesson many years ago when buying ink for printers. Don't use the cheap refill brands or try to refill the cartridges yourself. I have tried that in the past & the small amount I save usually ends up costing me more when my printer gets messed up. HP makes good cartridges and buying the XL capacity cartridges is worth the extra money. They last a long time.

What's not so great: too big; won't sync with PC or IMac; no emoticons
My last phone was a droid bionic, so I thought ANYTHING would be better than that - not true. I was close to buying an iPhone5 but went with the Galaxy because the iPhone doesn't have a back button. I didn't realize the phone had no emoticons (green droid symbols suck) like it's big brother the note 3. My old bionic had emoticons built in & there is no reason not to include them in this phone. The emoticon apps are junk.
it also refuses to sync with a PC or IMac. Forget kids or the built in sync app. You want to transfer pics or files - not going to happen unless you send them in an email.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

mobile downloading options?
I want to put some digital movies on a device so my kids can watch them in the car on road trips. Currently, they have kindle fire hd 8gb and we can only store one movie on it. Thats fine at home because of the network. Can i use this to store movies and then use a usb to hook up the kindle to watch or download more movies? On a car ride im looking for some way to let them watch more movies. is this an option? are there other options?
Yes - yu can buy up to a 128 gb micro sd card & store quite a few movies. It has 16 gb internal, so you can probably store at least 2 movies without a micro sd card. You can also hook it up to your kindle, computer or external HD's usb port using the charger cord. Just remove the AC portion of the charging cable & plug in the USB connector to your PC, Mac or external HD to copy files.
