What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Slow to change channels
Very slow to change channels. Sound quality is only fair. You have to move the sound up quite a bit to be able to hear well. The television is very slow to change channels once you have made a channel selection on the remote. I will never by this brand again.
Salesman was of no help whatsoever. Also, he never bothered to tell me that some of the better known names in Best Buy televisions would be going on sale for even less money than I paid, the very next day.

Yes, it is on your remote control.

DVD PLAYER

I just bought the tv/dvd combo. Hooked only into cable line. The dvd player plays movie but the audio is horrbile. So much background noise I cannot hear the audio. Tried every setting in the dvd menu but I cannot clear out the background static. When I watch reg tv, the audio is just fine. Is there some other setting I a missing? So frustrating as I bought the combo to eliminate having a separate DVD player and a million cables I do not know how to hook up!
I seriously doubt you are missing anything in terms of fine tuning the television to play the DVD'S. The sound quality of the television is not great any way, and I would imagine adding the DVD creates the background noise/interference.
