Okay; we know this is not an iPad so the horsepower is limited but at the $80 price point ($50 on sale as I write this and as I purchased it), it's a fantastic bargain.
Don't let any reviews here claim that you can't run most Android apps (including the Google Play Store and its apps!). You just have to be a little crafty. Follow the instructions here: http://saintlad.com/install-google-play-store-on-kindle-fire/ ...and in 15 minutes, I had the Play Store, Play Books (which means all of the books I had uploaded there now were available on the Kindle). Sure, you can use Amazon's services—Kindle books, videos, buying stuff on Amazon—but you don't -have- to. Note that this unit has the lockscreen ads which, frankly, you see only for 2 seconds before you unlock it; so don't waste your money thinking you have to pay more for the non-ad version. Web surfing isn't as fast as on my iPad but it's fine, really. (And I'm a Mac person.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

With a 7" multitouch display, this Asus ME70CX-A1-BK tablet allows you to navigate features using all 10 fingers. Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect to the Web, and a Bluetooth 4.0 interface enables wireless pairing with select devices.

Okay; it's not an iPad.
Now that that's out of the way, let's consider what it -is-. Using the Intel Atom CPU, it's considerably better than the cheesy low-power tablets foisted off on the public by many other vendors. It surfs the web okay (though it's not especially speedy when compared to an iPad), handles my eMail, runs lots of other apps (most of which are free) from the Google Play Store, has an okay camera for casual use.
Google Play Books works well (and I use iBooks on my iPad so I'm not easily impressed). Still, there are many other apps that will take care of PDFs, ePubs, Mobi (Kindle). There's even a Kindle app so you may read books you buy at Amazon. And I think that's the primary success of this tablet: It's a great eBook reader. Large enough screen to read a page of text (rather than just a paragraph as you would on your phone) but small enough to hold comfortably in one hand and fit into a coat pocket.
There are cheap plastic case/covers that may be found here and elsewhere and I'd recommend using one to keep the device clean and safe from damage.
Bottom line: I'd rather read on this device than my iPad. It works well, is laughably inexpensive, and doesn't require a proprietary charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Fool-proof assembly, quiet on lower speeds
What's not so great: Noisy at higher speeds
The assembly was a snap; parts are "keyed" so they only fit together in one way. Good job by the IE's at Honeywell.
The timer is great. I often leave the room and forget to turn off the fan but the timer takes care of that for me. You may set the timer to "always on" so the speed buttons on the top of the unit will power it on or off.
Don't expect this unit to take the place of an air conditioner; we use it in a large room that doesn't get as much AC as the rest of the house. Rather than drop the temp down to 74 so that large room is comfortable (with the rest of the house freezing), we leave the temperature on the house thermostat up at 78 (where we're comfortable) and use this fan to just move some air around in that large room. Seems to be a reasonable compromise and keeps the AC bills down.
I'd buy another and that's the best praise I can give it.

Is the $79.99 price with or without the special offers/Ads? If it is not how much is it for the one without the special offers? TIA Deziray

With ads. But don't worry about them. They only appear when you wake it up and then only for the few seconds until you swipe up to unlock it. I was worried about this but, after I bought it and used it, I realized it's a tempest in a teapot.

Can you read screen in sunlight

Not designed for reading in direct sunlight. Try shaded areas. This is a backlit screen, not a reflective e-ink model.

NETGEAR - Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender with Ethernet port
NETGEAR Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender: Broaden your network connection with a range extender that gives you extra Wi-Fi coverage in your home. Smart LED indicators will direct you to the optimal location to plug the extender into the wall, so you can easily enjoy improved range and speed on your mobile and wired devices. Save on data usage by connecting your smartphone or tablet to your home network.

I am currently using a 5G Netgear wifi. Will this extender work with it?

Yes, it will but do understand that, though 5G is faster, your Internet service is probably much slower so 5G may not provide anything useful (and the non-5G WiFi band may be more reliable).

We have Frontier for our wifi network. Is this compatible with their equipment to extend the range?

This should do the job. WiFi is Wifi and this extender is agnostic.

The differncwe between inkjet and laser printers

inkjet printers print one line at a time and use multiple cartridges to optionally produce multiple colors (or photos) on inkjet-quality paper (normally "harder" and smoother than cheap photocopier paper).

Laser printers are "page" printers; the entire page must be fed into the printer's memory and then it uses a laser to "write" onto a drum which then picks up toner on the areas where the laser beam has "charged" the drum's surface. The drum and paper are then squeezed together where the toner is transferred to the paper. Finally the paper goes through another set of pressure rollers with heat to "fuse" the toner to the paper. This process explains why laser printers sometimes "run out of memory" because the complexity of the information that needs to be transferred to the printer's laser exceeds the memory of the printer. The entire page must be fed into the printer at once.

The inkjet printer (printing only one line at a time) has no such memory contraints; it only needs to hold enough data in its memory to be able to spray the ink onto that one line of information. It then gets fed another line of data by the computer. Inkjet printers can make incredibly long banners because they only need to print one line at a time.

difference between ppm and ipm

ppm = pages per minutes
lpm = lines per minute

lpm is usually for dot-matrix printers (rare these days) whereas ppm is used for laser and inkjet printers.

Netbooks

Can a netbook also be used as an ebook reader?

It's a computer; all computers may be used as eBook readers. If you mean "will I be satisfied with the small screen and the limitations of scrolling enlarged PDFs around so I can read them?", that's your call.
