This printer does all I need it to do. I'm self-employed and need to print estimates as well as invoices and this printer does a great job.

What's great about it: It prints quickly, the print is sharp, the multi-document feeder as well as the flatbed works great for my situation.
What's not so great: So far nothing!
For my small business this printer does everything I need it to do.

hp 8620 e all in one wireless printer

I need a longer phone cord for my hp 8620 e printer so I went and bought a longer one at walmart but apparently I have to have an HP one because now the fax doesnt want to work. Does best buy even sell a 25 ft. long phone cord compatible with this printer?
If your incoming phone line is installed correctly it shouldn't make a difference what brand the 25' phone cord is...unless it's faulty! Try a different cord and see if that allows your fax to work. If that doesn't fix it then there might be something wrong with your printer/fax. Also, check your settings on your printer to make sure the fax is setup correctly.

Does the HP 8600 Printer have a by-pass that will allow one (or more) envelopes to be printed?

You've probably figured this out by now but the paper tray is adjustable to allow different sized envelopes and they can be stacked allowing you to print several envelopes (of the same size) quickly.
