Needed a device that was small and compact for when I travel. This can easily fit in my glasses case so I know its with me! SD card fits snugly and easily. Speed is typical of 2.0 - I typically have pics at 20+mb per image on 128gb card. This device transfers to my light weight travel pc without any noticeable delay. Would recommend to others

This is my second Toshiba drive - I do a lot of sports and landscaping photography so I prefer to store the images on portable drives instead of my Laptop drive. The drive is compact for easy travel - and the USB 3.0 speed makes the transfer from my SD card a breeze. All of my Toshiba drives perform flawlessly - never a worry! One slight negative - I wish this drive included a travel case like my other one did.

transfer videos

Does this allow you to transfer videos from your camera to your computer? When I uploaded the memory card from my camera only the pictures transferred directly into Drop box.

Take the memory card out of your camera. Insert into this device. You can then copy any file you want from the SD to the PC

How do I transfer data from my computer to my insignia?

Once connected to your PC, the decice shows as a drive just like all other USB devices. Simply copy to the drive as you would any other drive.
HINT: In Windows Explorer, you can see the drive letter assigned to the device when you insert it. You can eject and then re-insert if you can't differentiate right away

Have switched to Windows 10 and cannot upload pictures NS-CR2021 reader - if not compatible with 10 do you have a reader that is compatible?

I use this device on my Win10 pc with no issues at all
