I bought this tablet thinking that since it was a Samsung it would be good but I was wrong I had to return 3 tablets before I decided to go with a completely different brand because every tablet I got was defective so I was just like no I am NOT going to buy another tablet for it to be defective so I went and bought another tablet be completely different brand of tablet and it's even bigger than the tablet that they had for cheaper than what their biggest tablet was for Samsung I got the Lenovo tablet on one of their Lenovo tablets that the 10 inch tablet and it was only a few dollars more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7 inch and it actually works if there's no defects so I'm actually happy with the tablet I have now but it would not recommend buying a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7 inch unless you want to have to return that several times because they're all defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a good little tablet but just a little annoying because of the ads on the lock screen to make us have to pay more for the tablet to get a tablet that doesn't have the ads on the lock screen is kind of ridiculous. So for that reason I only gave it 4 stars it's a good tablet does what they say it does but don't like the fact that you have to pay extra to get a tablet that is ad free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Galaxy Tab A 8" have screen mirroring capability?
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab A today from our local Best Buy store. I was told I would be able to mirror its screen through my Roku (model 4200, software vs.7.0) to my TV. I cannot find anywhere in the settings where I can activate screen mirroring. I've also tried using 'SideSync' with no success. If I can't do screen mirroring, it will have to go back!
Yes it is as long as it has the updated operating system upgrade the system to Android lollipop 5.0.1 it will mirror its screen to a chromecast.
