It earns its R rating and then some, so don't watch it with the kids. But it does it all with both wicked glee and exquisite craftsmanship. Where to begin ... The script crackles in the air, and the actors are giving it their all, including DeCaprio channeling the James Cagney of Public Enemy and White Heat. Rich in directorial torches bearing the signature of Scorsese, it has his familiar arc of towering guilt depicted in loving detail before it is ultimately brought down, though unrepentant and without a scrap of absolution or redemption. The wreckage is total, and yet at the end you see the "hero" pick himself up and start afresh in a roomful of his next suckers-to-be. You're absolutely on the edge of your seat for all three hours, and I found myself strangely uplifted by the whole wretched experience! A troubling study of voracious ambition and moral decay, and its seductive effect on everything in its path. Great selection of songs and recordings -- there's background music pretty much throughout.
The movie is great, but I give the disc only 4 stars because it has no commentary soundtrack or extra features, which is really a shame because there is a lot of factual background i will have to look elsewhere to find.
After all these years, Martin continues to thrill and astonish. He's the best.

I'm new to Apple and this was a big step to take. For some reason, I find that moving from Windows to a Mac is like jumping over the Berlin wall! My learing curve is pretty long but I'm on my way and I'm doing great. It's lightweight, it's quick, the battery lasts a long time, and I'm very happy with this. If I'm in a wifi area and having trouble understanding something, other Mac users are very happy to help me, and it's a nice little community! A Bestbuy salesman guided me to this and helped me get a great deal too.

It's a basic cell phone. I use it for phone calls and texting and not much else, and that's all I want. It doesn't have a camera. The instructional manual could have been a lot clearer, I had to spend a lot of time figuring stuff out on my own. Oh well ... like I said, it's cheap, and I knew what I was getting into, and actually it's pretty reliable. So I have no major complaints.

What's great about it: Martin at this best
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing
Why oh why is this film not more famous? Maybe because some people think it's "not as good as" Goodfellas, or it treads somewhat over some of the same territory ... which is long saying Othello is not as good as Hamlet! No, this stands alone, and it's a grand story, told in a way that only movies can tell it, with great actors and technical crew under the loving guidance of a Master. This film will be rediscovered someday, but why wait? Beat the rush!

I've gotten other SanDisk memory cards, and been happy with them all. Technology improves, and SanDisk keeps up with it: here's another memory card, and I'm happy all over again! I have taken buckets of photos with this, and it is completely reliable.
