I used to have a Yamaha receiver, but after just 3 years the HDMI output crapped the bed and started throwing a solid pink screen every time I turned it on. I bought this to replace it and have been pleased. It’s a breeze to setup - it actually includes the calibration microphone, unlike others. The sound quality is also great with some quality speakers. Mine is setup 7.2 with 2 powered subwoofers.

This is an awesome little speaker for the money! I've been using it in my backyard when we have a small get together and it's enough sound to hear over 50' away clearly.
I even left it outside one night through a thunderstorm, and had no issues after I realized. Sadly, my dog did more damage by chewing up the power cord the other day. I guess that means I'll be able to enjoy yet another 6-7 hours or so before I'm forced to purchase a replacement cord.

It's thicker than the other Zagg screen protectors, so it takes getting used to. I noticed that it took a slight adjustment of having to press just a little harder when typing due to the thickness, but the adjustment was negligible in my opinion. Works great against those busy bodies on the plane, but you can't see well through polarized sun glasses. Also, it shields the side view in portrait, but it doesn't do the same in landscape.

I Have a 2k monitor with HDMI /Displayport inputs.Will this player play 4k movies on it to it,s maximum resolution 2560x1440p?I know my monitor is 2k,but curious if i will get near to 4k resolution using HDMI cables(4k) or Displayport cables(4k).
