I just think that even if you have all the extra mounts and screws for the gopro, they will never be enough.. These tripod mount works great and will make your life much easier because it cames with that universal size connection that will fit most of the equipments out there.

Great stereo, the combination with Garmin gps made it even better.. The double zone audio setting is also a great point because you can have people on the back watching dvd and you can listen to your music totally independent.. Love it!!

How does it make and receive phone calls?
You just need to pair your phone with the unit and your calls will be automatically directed to the system.. Works great!! I use everyday for phone calls and all the other features such as Pandora, Itunes, TuneIn, etc.. Another great add on to this unit is the backup camera, that helps a lot..

Can the go pro pivot once it's on the mount?
Does the gopro have to face forward or can you pivot it?
No. If you want to have that feature of pivoting your camera I'd suggest you to get a mount that does it.
The goose neck is a goog call for that. But if you do a research over the internet you'd find very good deals on them!!
