While vacuum shopping I was disappointed to see how many leading vacuums were bagless. These "filter bags" are not cheap but they're great for households with allergy issues (the bags on the upright even seal as they're being removed -- great design!). The upright is very light and the canister is great for getting in the crevasses and for use in the car. I even use it to suck the dirt out of my little Electrolux battery-operated hard floor vacuum, which allows me to benefit from its ease-of-use but not have to fling dirt and dust back into the air while emptying it. I wholeheartedly recommend these Hoovers!

Where do you get the bags?

Where do you get the bags and what kind of bags does this take?
Doe they have disposable and permanent cloth bags?
I bought them from a seller on Amazon (who sold the upright and canister bags as a combo) but I believe I also saw them in a local Best Buy store. You have to make sure to get the correct ones, though.

How would you rate it for noise level?

It's fairly loud but not at a level that bothers me. It is a vacuum after all! There are two suction settings and one is quieter than the other.
