I purchased this to watch antenna recorded shows on my local network. In conjunction with a new AC speed wireless router I can reliably watch 720i 5.1 channel sound MP4 recordings, sometimes 1080i. I have limited home internet so I don't stream. There are lots of great channels and the menu is great.

If you enjoyed this movie the Blu-Ray 3d version doesn't disappoint! The disc is well laid out and the image quality was dazzling. Nice to have extra video and the quality and convenience of physical discs. Load time was short and menus were well done. Haven't looked for extra angles or Easter eggs. Probably the only way to beat quality is theater or 4k.

If you like Captain America movies then this is worth owning. The 3D is quite good as well. We have an active 3d TV and the experience was great. Haven't made time to watch extras but they are probably well done. Marvel really does a great job! This combo pack is worth the money in my opinion.

Purchased these speakers for use on a deck to watch movies and play music. They work well, have good tone range, and are plenty loud. Included speaker mounts had limited movement so I bought some different ones.

Do you still need a wifi carrier to have roku, or can you sign up for wifi through roku?

Not sure what you are asking entirely. If you have Internet service you pay for at your home then the Roku can connect wirelessly or wired to it and deliver media to you. If you only have cellular phone internet then you MAY be able to connect the Roku to you phone if you have your phone provide wireless internet, hot-spotting.

The Roku can connect to a network for Internet, it can't provide it. You need to connect the Roku to the Internet. Perhaps you don't have a wireless network at home, but have a computer hooked up to a cable modem of some sort. That modem may be able to setup a wireless network in your home. Call your Internet provider. If the modem can't provide wireless. You then need a wireless router for your home. You may need that anyways for your Roku unless you can run a wire from your modem.

Good luck and have fun setting it up. It is easier these days.

separate roku 3 streaming player for bedroom...

i am going to get a roku 3 for my main hdtv in my living room....do i need to get a separate roku 3 for my bedroom?...if i do need to get a separate one can i use one account for both or do i need separate accounts?....

Hi there, yes you need a Roku for each TV. I have one account for both of my Roku's. Just set both Roku's up by the TV's. Follow instructions and use the same Roku account login info. All of your streaming accounts can also be on indvidual accounts if you wish.

Wired (cat5e or 6 cable) gives you the highest performance, but you can still use on wireless network. I bought a new router Netgear Nighthawk 1300 AC router to be able to stream HD on my network. That router is newer AC standard. I can watch HD no prob.
