good gaming headphones. you can use the red and white audio out from your tv or an aux out from your tv to the bluetooth transmitter. very much like.

i got this to use as an external hard drive for my xbox one. ran out of space on the stock xbox one hard drive, so i looked around and chose this one. works perfect, after your xbox one formats it to the console. plugs right into the xbox one's usb port. boom!

Do I need to buy to anything else with it to make it work?

nope, unless your tv has some type of audio out. the red and white audio out or an aux out. tv sends a signal to your bluetooth transmitter.

When the headset is turned on, Are you able to turn on and off the mic? And if its off, will the *mic logo* be shown in game (example, Black Ops 2)

Depends on what console you are using. on the xbox one you can turn on and off your mic. so you can just hear game play and chat. and as long as your headphones are on, the game shows a mic symbol next to your gamer tag.
