I purchased this drive to make a back-up of my OS for my new laptop. It makes restoring the laptop much easier than using CD's or DVD's in which you are limited to using write once and not re-writable. The drive is fast with transferring data which only seems to be limited by the speed of the computer you place it in.

It's a decent computer but it doesn't have a good graphics card in it. The sound is horrible. I don't know why a lot of manufacturers are building laptops with speakers facing down on the bottom of the computer. When playing a video or sound file it just buzzed and rattled the plastic body of the laptop. The plastic body of the laptop will due but feels cheap. It feels like if you're not careful you could crack it. I returned mine and got something more suitable after using this one. But if you just need something to email. write documents, or if you need good sound (plug in some good speakers to the headphone jack because it doesn't have bluetooth then it's an okay computer to buy.

This is a great controller. The only drawback was the fact that it doesn't have anything to mount your smartphone to. Outside of that, it's an awesome controller. It works well with Fire TV, Your computer and smartphone/tablet. My sons and I primarily use it to fly the Parrot Bebop drone through our tablet. It's got some weight to it and its sturdy. It feels ergonomically comfortable and the battery life is very good.

This is a great television if your demands for smooth function isn't high. Let's start at the settings. I wanted to set up my aspect ratio to wide screen and the picture mode to standard. Every time I turn off the TV it loses those settings. I also find that programming my favorite channels was cumbersome. You have to go into settings, scroll all the way down, press the right arrow, scroll down some more to channels, then scroll down to favorites and the scroll down through all the channels to select the one you want as your favorite. I'd much rather just press one button while on that channel to select it being a favorite. Casting Youtube videos from your computer or smart phone is easy. Netflix, Amazon and other streaming options work well. The user interface is very basic. It's functional but not as much eye candy as you get from an LG or Samsung television. The way I see it is if you want to be a competitor of those two brands, you got to bring it and make sure you slam it home! The 4 year warranty is very attractive. If anything goes wrong with it, they will fix it as long as it's a manufacturing fault. The 4K screen is beautiful and the sound is loud and clear for the speakers it's equipped with. The price was good at the time I purchased it. I think it's a good television for the kids to play their video games on. That's what I know use it for as it didn't meet my expectations for function.

I got this television on Black Friday for $199 and I was very happy. Got it home and it was easy to set up and the picture is pretty good. It did one forced firmware update during a football game without asking if I wanted to update. BAD Toshiba! BAD!
Overall, I thought the television was good. The remote is nothing to be desired though. It has no number keypad to change to the channel you want directly. I downloaded the Toshiba remote from google play and it worked great but you can't turn on the television with it. You have to use the supplied remote. The remote app does have a number pad to change the channels to the one you want directly. Another nice feature because of it's network setup, when you turn the television on, the app on your smart phone will activate so you can use it. You don't have to activate it yourself.
Where it all went wrong:
The television began to randomly turn off and turn back on. Reboot so to speak. First it was just once every few days. Then once a day and then several times a day. Then one night it just turned on by itself, no picture but there was sound. Doing some troubleshooting myself, I unplugged all the HDMI connections because if you have an Amazon Fire TV or a Blue-ray player, the moment you turn the device on, the television turns on along with the device. It's a cool feature. Needless to say that was the problem. Well, we like to have all our devices plugged in. I tried disabling the HDMI feature but it still turned on the television at night randomly. The television is on roughly 3 to 4 hours a day when everyone gets home and maybe 6 to 7 hours on the weekends.
I ended up returning the television but found a Hisense 4k 50" television with HDR for $200 more and WOW! It has a much better picture, sound and remote. It suffers in some features such as built in Chromecast but it has its own cast product that works extremely well. The reviews are all good for the Hisense.

I use this with my Samsung S5 and laptop computer. I have to make adjustments to my sound settings on my laptop every time I want to use it with my phone software. It works but it's too much to have to take care of each time I use the phone software. The buttons on the side of the headset doesn't work with the S5. If the phone rings, the button to answer it doesn't work, nor does it hang it up. I also found the buttons to play, forward track or reverse track with music doesn't work. Mutes doesn't work either. As for the quality, I like it for what I paid for it. The sound is good and the microphone does work and others hear me well and without issue but as I said, the buttons simply do not work. I looked for an app through the google play store thinking that logitech may have created something to make it work right but could not find anything and there is nothing about an app listed on the box or the instructions inside. The battery life seems to be around 4 to 6 hours depending on if you're talking on it or just listening to music. It would be nice if replacement battery were easier to find for when the battery doesn't last as long.

The controller is just like any other Playstation 4 controller that comes with the game but guess what? YOU GET TO PAY MORE for the different color! How about that?! Ain't that special? Buy a black one for less and paint it if you happen to have a can laying around of your preferred color. If you don't, then buy this one. It's the Sony Anniversary edition! Oh Boy! It made my son happy though so I guess to see the smile on his face was worth it.

Not really! At least I don't think they are.
If you're going to do some interactive games, the Sony Playstation Camera is a good addition to the package. It's not as much as the other guys (Xbox one) camera is and its fun to use it with the included interactive robotic dudes that you fling out and they dupey all over your floor until you vacuum them up in which case you have an internal view of your controller that you can torture the little guys with a few shakes. Oh!, don't upset the one that looks like Wheatley from Portal 2. You may get some flame action from him if you knock him around. Yeah, it takes the camera for the Playstation to know if you're doing that. Enjoy! It's a lot of fun until you're done!

I got this one first, the WRT 1900 AC but returned it for the WRT 1900 ACS which is the newer version for the same price. The software on the ACS is not any different but there are bugs that have been worked out. The only thing I don't like about the router software interface is the parental control for setting times that devices disconnect from the internet. I would have like to be able to set it for 9:30pm for example but it will only allow 9:00, 10:00 and so on.

I personally am not a gamer. My sons however love to play and I found myself involved playing with them. The Playstation 4 is our new preferred gaming console over the Xbox One and Wii, which are great consoles too.

Will this work to switch a dc circuit?
I believe the switch only operates on AC as it has a transmitter in the switch to communicate with a wireless router.

Can I use this to control a light on a different circuit? For instance, can I set this up to operate a WeMo Outlet? (There appears to be no Q&A on the WeMO Dimmer version, but that appears to have functionality to control other WeMo devices.)
You can use the light switch or plug on difference electrical circuits IE, subpanels in your home, shed or business. They need to connect to a wireless router and be within range of the router to be controlled using your smartphone, computer or Amazon Echo.

Is this compatible with the noon vr headset
To my best understanding, the controller does not pair up with any VR headset but rather your smartphone. If the controller pairs with your smartphone then you should have no problem using it with any VR headset. I use a VR vue FX with my smartphone and controller and it works great.

What is the best wifi/bluetooth card to use in a laptop. The latency is really bad with the broadcom adapter that's in there now. Will the killer 1420 wifi/BT combo card work better?
Bestbuy sells a USB bluetooth dongle. Its going to be a hit or miss trial with it. I purchased one to try to connect a bluetooth speaker to my laptop with no luck but could use this controller with it. Look for the Insignia bluetooth USB at your local Best Buy. You may also want to try to update the broadcom adapter drivers if any are available to solve the latency issues.

I activated and subscribed to UltraFlix4k, but I am not able to load video. Why?
It could be your internet connection. Is it DSL, Cable? What bandwidth to you have? The slower it is the less likely you'll get a stable connection.
You may also want to look at making sure the firmware is updated. That could resolve that issue as well.

Physical game disc or download?
Is the Star Wars Battlefront game a physical disc or is it a code to download the game?
It is a download. I wish it were physical as it seems like the wait for the download takes a long time. If you open it Christmas day, you will be disappointed if you want to play the game because you're going to be waiting a long time to get it. I recommend getting a game or two that you can play on disc while you're waiting for the game to download. Either that or open it up before Christmas and get it set up then repack it for Christmas day. Depends on your situation.
