What's great about it: It works for simple things and it's reasonably priced.
What's not so great: The battery life is way too short.
Bought two for my children for school. I had to take one back because the battery lasted only an hour. You may get a maximum of 4 hours of use out of it and then have to charge it. We've found that using it while on the charger isn't really charging it at all.
At least it's a decent speed. It's not lagging when you use it for games or screen transitions. It does take a long time to boot up from off and when in standby it seems to drain the battery at the same rate as when the screen is lit.

What's great about it: Superb sound quality
What's not so great: It feels cheap, makes noise when holding it.
The technology is awesome! The way it sounds is superior to other audio recorders of the same price range. The case that's built around the technology is least to be desired. It's hard to press some of the buttons on the side because they are too small. I would like to see some more thought going into the design of this recorder. It's not bad as it is but would be nice if it was re-engineered.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do the ps2 controllers work with the ps4 console or would I need to buy new controllers?
I doesn't use previous console controllers. The PS4 is a totally new system which will not use previous version hardware that is wireless. You may try a wired controller as we have not done that to know if it works or not. The PS4 comes with one controller. Any extra controllers are purchased separately.

Is this system backward compatible? Will it play PS2 games?
I still have several PS2 games and am wondering if they would be playable on this PS4.
Sadly it doesn't play any previous Playstation games. We have opted to keep our PS3 because of this.

Does it come with a mic?
No mic is included in the console package. You may purchase one for your controller or purchase a playstation camera at your local bestbuy or at bestbuy.com.

Where are the vouchers to download the bundle star wars games?
The vouchers are on a slip of paper that looks like an advertisement located in the box. If they are not there, take it back or call Sony.

Appreciating that download speeds vary, how long did it take to download Battlefront ? How much space does it take on the harddrive?
It takes about 8 hours with a 15 gig connection however I have come to believe that it's the Sony server that limits the speed and not the home connection speed. The space it takes is 22.49 gigabytes. The nice thing is if there is an update to the game you can still play while the update is downloading. My son informed me of an update that took 12 hours to download but he still could play.
