I recently cancelled my cable and needed a streamer to watch Hulu and Netflix with. This was purchased for our second tv and is perfect, it plugs in the back so you do not have to have an extra box on your entertainment center. Picture is clear and comes with a ton of free channels. I would buy this again.

How does the remote work with the stick behind the TV?

I'm concerned the remote won't work with the streaming stick plugged in behind the TV.
Is this a standard IR (infrared) remote that needs line of sight to work? (too much to ask for a Bluetooth remote)
It works without a direct line. The remote can be pointed anywhere in the room and work.
