What's great about it: Easy to set up and use
What's not so great: Radio tuner is not that great
I bought this system after time consuming search for bluetooth speakers. The reason why I decided to buy this system is that there is no need for portable speaker system for me and I don't have cd player any more after upgrading my laptop to retina mac book pro.
I am okay with overall performance, but there are two concerns.
1. The initial reading time of cd player is somewhat slow. It is not unbearable, but quite noticeable.
2. The tuner is not great compare to my Tivoli radio. This system can not tuned into many radio station even if I fully extend the antenna cable.
However, it still works fine as my bluetooth speaker, and cd player.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I connect a turntable and play vinyl records?

There is a 3.5 mm audio input port in the back side, which means you can connect your turntable with it.
