I added this sub to complete the 5.1 surround. The sub added a depth of sound that really completed the sound system. If you have an open room the sub is needed for the full deep sound.

I hooked up the sound bar with two 1’s. I get great surround on my tv, when i stream Netflix, Amazon or even internet. But through the cable, I don’t get any sound from the 1’s. What do I need to do to get surround from the Cable and the TV? Thanks

Make sure you have the steaming device set to 5.1 surround. Most default to a difference setting for sound.
