AT&T U-verse TV

How do I connect the HDMI cable from the TV that goes into the U-verse equipment to now go into the Rocketfish 4-port switch. If I unplug the HDMI cable from the u-verse, there's no signal.
the hdmi cable from your cable box goes into the switch then select which port you pluged it into

Does this have a memory card slot or not? Photo shows one on front lower left side but then the "specifications" list says it does NOT have one.
