What's great about it: Well made, seems to be durable
What's not so great: Set up, lightning connection, oily look on screen
This is a product that appears to do the job of protecting the phone without adding too much bulk and weight. In my view it actually improves the feel of the phone. What's not so good is testing the case for water proof ness before you even install it on the phone. I feel like an extension of the quality assurance process. Even if it passes this test, what's to say it won't fail later anyway. Seems like a worthless aggravating customer requirement. The lightning port is so far recessed that it makes removal of the plug very difficult for anyone without very small fingers. Mine has developed an "oily" look under the screen protector which is very noticeable when screen is in hibernation. Not really a problem when the device is in active use but some may be bothered by the appearance. I know others have had this same issue. All in all a good product that I hope will never really need to be tested.

What's great about it: Convenient, helpful, fun, comfortable
What's not so great: Limited instructions
Not being a techie, I was unsure about this product. Now, I can't imagine being without it. I no longer miss calls due to noisey environments or the phone being buried in winter clothes or elsewhere where I can't feel it vibrate. The pebble always vibrates on my wrist and lets me know what's going on be it via e-mail, txt, phone, etc. With the available smartstatus app, I even get the weather, know about scheduled appointments, current temperature, cell phone battery status and more. It is much more discrete to glance at a watch than to wrestle with a cell phone every time you get a notification or a call. The number of watch faces is amazing and with third party add ons you can make it just about any color. I liked this watch so much that I took a chance and got one for my techie son. He absolutely loves it and keeps me up tp date with the latest apps. This is more than a watch - it' s a very useful extension of and enhancement to your communications capability.

Compatibility on iPhone 5S
Is this the life proof case compatibile with the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S? The hole for the flash in the back of the case is also different between the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S. Is this the correct case and the pictures shown are incorrect or is this not the exclusive Lifeproof iPhone 5S case?
Yes, I have a 5s and the scanner works as well as it did before I installed the case. No real problems encountered. I set up the scanner function before installation of the case and I would recommend doing it first.
