Highly recommend for families with children as the stain cycle and tub size will handle the most active families.
BestBuys delivery guys were exceptional relative to customer service, clean, considerate, and professional. They answered all my questions and took great care bringing in washer as well as removing old machine.

Please tell me there is a way to change the alert on the washer to just a single chiming bell or something. The "tune" it plays is SO LONG!

We have a new Samsung washer and dryer and are so excited to have them. But I cannot understand why they designed them to play such a long and annoying tune as the end-of-cycle alert. A few chiming bells would suffice! I have discovered a way to turn it off completely but then I don't know when the cycle is finished unless I keep checking on it. Please tell me there is a way to change the alert. Thank you!
There is a setting that will allow you to turn that feature off but not one to shorten the tune.

Can I wash a down filled comforter in this top loading machine ?

I know that I can't wash water proof items, but am not sure about down filled items
Depends on the size of the comforter. I would not put a pure down comforter in this unit that is larger than full size.

How to stop the wrinkling?

My clothes are coming out of this washer very wrinkly. How can I avoid that? Never had this problem with an agitator.
Try changing the way you load your clothes into the tub. Lay your clothes out so that they are lengthwise close to the tub as opposed to just tossed into the washer.

Is it really worthy to buy an HE washer as opposed to a regular washer with an agitator?

There seems to be a variety of issues from users of this HE washer that leads one to question the true efficiency of this product. When a consumer spends this kind of money, it's natural to expect that the product is reliable in all respects. I have a distinct impression that the technology used in developing this new machines has complicated rather than simplify its use. I am seriously debating whether or not to buy this macine.
My water bill dropped by 20.00 the first month. Savings on laundry products has also resulted in 10.00 savings and my electric bill dropped 10.00. For us, the HE was well worth it.
