Hisense offers a lot to like in this 75" mini-LED ULED 4K Google TV, matching big picture real estate with customizable and adaptive viewing, smart capabilities, and immersive sound. With its competitive price tag, it is the perfect addition to any budget-conscious entertainment space.
Unboxing the 100 pound, 75" behemoth is a two-person job, and the packaging doesn't do you any favors with any instruction. But after carefully undoing the cardboard and styrofoam, I was relieved to find a big, beautiful, and flawless display waiting inside. Packed with a sleek remote (with batteries), heavy TV stand, and a few screws, the TV was easy to put together and start up.
Onscreen setup is fast, especially for those with a Google account. Consumers who no longer use cable boxes have loads of streaming options already preloaded and a library downloadable apps at their disposal. Connect a digital antenna for access to hundreds of local, free channels; connect your choice of streaming box to one of its four HDMI ports and stream that way if you prefer. The onscreen Hisense user interface can be a little overwhelming for the average viewer, but fortunately this TV offers a step-by-step tutorial (that you may exit at any time) for all of its features.
Picture quality is great. Besides the obvious magnitude of 75 inches, the Hisense TV gives a number of options that create a bright and clear experience. From theater day and night views to filmmaker mode that shows a movie as the creator had intended, this TV provides incredibly vivid color and contrast that mesmerize and impress. And when it comes to sound, this TV hits you from all angles, no home theatre system or soundbar needed.
Whether you're binging multiple seasons of a show, being engrossed by a sci-fi space epic film, or battling hoards of monsters in a video game, the Hisense U8 series ULED TV delivers a high quality experience at an affordable price and makes for a wonderful option for your entertainment space.

By now you know what you want in a smart watch: comfortable fit; extended battery life; fitness and GPS features; something eye-catching would be nice too, right? Well, the Coros Apex 2 Pro aims to be all that and more. This sports watch caters to all activity types-- from fitness runners to marathon junkies to biking enthusiasts. The Apex 2 Pro has all the features you want to track and monitor an active lifestyle.
Many smartwatches feel bulky on the wrist, but the Apex 2 Pro feels very light, comfortable, and is almost unnoticeable. It's not something that needs to be removed all that much either, with 30 days of regular battery life that's cut slightly short only by consistent usage of its GPS tracking features.
The watch looks great. It has a big 1.3" watch face with a button to light up the screen, and the display is fully customizable through the free Coros app. The variety of selectable watch faces is numerous and growing. Its strap uses a very strong Velcro that makes wearing and removing the watch quick and easy. Navigating the watch settings is simple by rotating the knob and selecting items. The Apex 2 Pro is fitted with a number of activity monitors that readily collect information in real time, with tests to record things like fitness, sleep patterns, and exercise recovery. Customize workouts on the app or download some for free onto the watch for training. You can even view full landscape and topographical maps on the watch by connecting it to a computer and downloading a selectable, customized map file from the Coros website.
I especially like the road running metrics, with race predictor features for different runs-- 5ks, half-marathons, etc. The watch uses data from your recent weeks of runs to make informed pace estimates to set personal goals and benchmarks. It almost feels like too much information at times, but coupled with the route monitors, exercise regulating features, and GPS mapping, the Apex 2 Pro ensures you have all the data needed to train in the most efficient, effective manner.
Overall, the Coros Apex 2 Pro is a serious smartwatch for the serious athlete. It has all the features you'll ever need and is the perfect accessory for the runner, biker, swimmer, and athlete in you.

Most laptop stands are one-dimension, functional eyesores. They do the job, sure, but when not in use, they stick out like a sore thumb on a desktop. Logitech has solved this problem with the Casa Pop-Up Desk. Designed to work on any surface, this stand is compatible with most laptops and can be stored on display or out of sight. It's the perfect laptop stand solution for someone that doesn't want to sacrifice style with their versatility.
Housed in a sleek, book-like casing, the Casa Pop-Up Desk stand holds firmly in place magnetically. It is pretty sturdy for most sizes of laptops I tested, though it did have some issues on a laptop with larger than normal surface risers, as the laptop would slide down to the riser before holding steady. Inside the case, there's a small storage for an included USB-C charging cable (with room for other small things like paperclips, flash drives, or small pencils), a spot for the compact wireless keyboard, and a wireless touchpad. The Casa Keys keyboard easily pops out by pushing down on the space bar to lift it up, and the Casa Touch touchpad comes out in the same manner. When stored away, the Casa Pop-Up Desk packs closed tightly with a rubber strap and can be tucked away with any of the books and folders in or around your desk.
The Casa Keys and Casa Touch devices connected seamlessly to my laptops via Bluetooth -- and that's "laptops" plural. The keyboard and touchpad both connect to three devices at a time and can switch to any of them at the touch of a button -- very cool! The keyboard itself is very compact, yet the buttons are still regular-sized and very responsive. The touchpad has a large surface area and is fully clickable. It's nice that the two wireless devices are separated so I'm able to position the touchpad anywhere at my workstation. These devices last a long time, advertised at five months of battery life for the keyboard and three weeks for the touchpad. I haven't had to charge either for a week now, which is pretty great especially through some consistent, heavy usage.
Overall, this portable, efficient, and stylish laptop stand lets you create your personalized workstation anywhere you go, whether you're on the go or at home. Best of all, it is out of sight and out of mind when you're finished using it. An awesome little stand.

Gaming laptops adapt to their gaming owners, and the Alienware M16 gaming laptop is no different. Combining its minimalistic design with high performance parts and technology, Dell's latest gaming laptop makes sure it is up to your standards, whichever kind of gamer you are.
With an inviting, blue backlit keyboard and its customary alien logo glowing brightly when you open the shell, the M16 presents a very modern, yet simple, design for its users. I especially like the honeycomb-shaped air vent and speaker areas. The outer shell is a glossy, metallic black shade, while the interior surrounding the keys has a durable, rubberized surface that feels nice with your palms resting on the sides of the trackpad. The shell opens to a full 180-degrees, accommodating all viewing angles, and the laptop has an elevated design that helps airflow. Two USB-C ports and a single HDMI port line the back, while two USB-A ports and a MicroSD slot line the right. An ethernet port and headphone jack sit on the left side. The power cord connects from the back, and it cuts off the charge at 100% to preserve the battery. The keys are excellent, large and bright with the RGB LED on full display. Responsive and accurate, typing on the M16 feels flawless. Finally, while there isn't a dedicated numeric pad, I love the column of volume keys on the far right side that is easy to access.
The display is big and bright with plenty of screen real estate and a high refresh rate. It comes on fairly quickly upon opening the laptop, and you're off and running to get your game on. The M16 is more than capable to play all the latest games, either cloud-based or downloaded. My machine is the minimum 1TB in storage and 16GB of memory, but it supports up to 8TB and 64GB, respectively, for all your multitasking needs. Working and playing on battery power can range from 90 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on your energy settings. This is a little underwhelming for my liking, but the fast-charging cable gets the M16 filled up pretty fast if you're on the go, and applying the "Stealth Mode" settings increases that off-power cord usage even longer. And one last thing I appreciate is its relative quiet of the machine. Compared to most of my gaming laptop experiences, the M16 is surprisingly less noisy, fan and all.
As a gamer that is pretty much glued to my screen, this computer is everything I want in a gaming laptop. Its eye-catching yet sleek design reflects the modern gamer, and inside the shell it can handle any and all games you want it to tackle. Alienware has another winner in its gaming lineup with its brilliant, reliable M16. Highly recommended.

There are only three things in life you can rely on: death, taxes, and Brother printers. Fast, easy, and consistent printing is the game here, and Brother continues its stellar reputation with the MFC-L2820DW laser printer. If you're in need of a solid, no-hassle black-and-white printer, this is the one for you.
Packed with the machine is an AC power cord, toner cartridge and drum unit assembly, and some simple quick setup and safety guides. There is also a phone cable for the fax. The unit is not too big and can fit nicely under any standard home office desk and on a printer platform. Its paper tray is a decent size too, holding about half a ream of paper at capacity. Assembly is easy: simply remove the securing tape, install the toner/drum assembly, load paper, plug in, and turn it on. The printer will ensure its software is updated after you search for and connect to your Wi-Fi network. All of this is a breeze as usual with Brother printers. If you run into any issues, the included troubleshooting guide gives simple-to-follow instructions to get your machine up and running again as well as provide information to Brother's support services. You'll never use them though, because this printer is as smooth as it gets.
The printer shoots out print jobs fast and quiet. It never jammed up on me once, and I don't expect it to either. I love that it doesn't need to warm up with a ton of pre-printing noise that will wake up the kids if I need to use it at night. The page quality is great, but I'm not looking for vibrance or high contrast with a black-and-white laser printer. I want clean and quick, with no streaks or ink blotting on the pages, and the MFC-L2820DW does that beautifully with no fuss. This is true for print jobs out of my mobile devices and desktop computer but also for copying jobs as well.
One last thing to note is Brother participates in a Refresh EZ Print Subscription if you stick with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) ink and print plans interest you. I personally find this more useful for color printers, as B&W machines (and Brother printers in general) seem to have a knack for stretching its ink cartridges to last a very long time. While I've only had a little more than a week with this machine, I haven't seen any quality downturns while testing through pretty heavy usage. It is reliable and worth your trust in your home office.

Out of box, the three Deco units are big and sturdy devices - much bigger than my previous mesh system devices. Aesthetically, the units look nice, minimal, and modern, and they won't be an eyesore sitting out in the open where it is recommended to get the best Wi-Fi coverage. Each device uses its own power adapter and the main unit will hook up to your modem via a provided Ethernet cable. Each unit has four 2.5 Gbps ports and a USB port and can connect both a wireless and wired backhaul on each unit at the same time. The provided installation guide is kind of useless, but everything you need to do from the jump is provided step-by-step on the TP-Link Deco app. I was connected and running the new network in minutes, and the app allows clear visibility of all devices on your network, with lots of features to view or block any device at any time. Streaming high-res video and wireless gaming is smooth with no noticeable hiccups experienced over several days of continuous, high usage; this is great when considering the high number of devices I have running simultaneously on the network and on different levels of my home.
One feature I love is the ability to create a multi-link operation (MLO) network separate from my main network or any guest networks I make. The MLO allows the device to transmit data across the 6 GHz and 5 GHz bands at the same time, thereby allowing faster Wi-Fi speeds and even less chance of dropoffs. We put our home office devices on this network specifically to keep business and personal computing separate and secure.
The ease of installation, high speed and low latency, and outstanding end-to-end home networking coverage makes the TP-Link Deco system an easy recommendation. Consumers looking for a fast, reliable network without the fuss need look no further.

Crucial has become synonymous with speed and reliability when it comes to memory and storage, and its latest effort in the X9 Pro for Mac is no exception. Designed for Mac and Apple devices, the Crucial X9 Pro for Mac is ready right out of the box, providing a durable, reliable external drive that gives you all the room you need.
The drive is thin, compact, and the epitomy of portable - it's amazing how small these things get nowadays. I really like the feel and design of its casing; it is sturdy and light, with one side a light-gold aluminum material and the other a rubberized texture that is easy to grip. Along the edges, there are small indentations that make it easy to hold as well. The drive has only one USB-C slot, and it comes packed with one short USB-C to USB-C cable. When plugged into a computer port and when in use, a small indicator light comes on, but otherwise the X9 Pro for Mac is mostly inconspicuous in your workspace. Finally, it has a small lanyard hole on the corner to maximize its portability.
At 2TB in capacity, the X9 Pro for Mac has more than enough room for your personal files, pictures, and videos. And as an SSD (Solid-State Drive), it is more durable than hard disk drives whose insides have moving parts. Plugged into a MacBook, it runs immediately and its folder appears almost instantaneously on the screen. Moving files into the folder is quick and effortless, and even the biggest video files go super fast. This drive is targeted for Apple consumers specifically, but the drive will work on a PC when reformatted (although there is an X9 Pro for PC users as well).
Overall, the X9 Pro for Mac is a big SSD with a small footprint, offering Apple users a fast, reliable external storage option with enough room to quickly transfer the biggest files. It is a high quality product that is easy to recommend.

Insignia's ergonomic wireless keyboard provides comfort and visual appeal with a perfectly balanced shape and size. Unfortunately, some functional flaws make this decent keyboard somewhat frustrating to use and hard to recommend.
The keyboard shape is perfect, exactly the type of configuration you'd expect from an ergonomic membrane. Hand-placement for the main keys is spot on, and the unit has tabs on the front wrist rest (oddly, not on the back though) to lift the keyboard even higher based on your comfort and preference. To the right and angled towards you are the arrow keys, several function keys, and at the far right a numeric pad. This keyboard has the full layout you need for your workspace, and with plug-and-play compatibility with Windows 10 and above , macOS, and ChromeOS, it is ready to use right out of the box. The shortcut keys are also very useful, with clear icons for each function that work flawlessly, without any customization needed.
Packaged with the keyboard unit is its USB dongle (which can be stored on the underside of the keyboard magnetically), two AA batteries, and some brief instructions. Unfortunately, two things immediately stand out: one, this unit doesn't have a rechargeability aspect; and two, there isn't any Bluetooth capabilities. Now these aren't deal-breakers at all - some people may prefer using regular, alkaline batteries for their devices, and others may not mind using a USB port on their computer for a keyboard. However, these are personal preferences that vary from user to user. Upon installation of the batteries, I notice no power button and no keyboard backlight, the latter of which may be to save on the battery usage due to its lack of rechargeability, but it seems odd then not to have a power switch to further save energy. Finally, there are a few LED indicators on the top right for Number Lock, Caps Lock, and Low Battery.
The keys feel nice and responsive. However, I had a major issue with the numeric pad keys, specifically the 0, 1, and 2. These keys required a heavy press to even function as compared to the rest of the keys. There was a noticeably different clicking noise for those keys, so I suspected it was a mechanical issue. I was able to pry up the keys to inspect and compare them to properly functioning ones, but they didn't look noticeably different. However, pressing down on them without the tile on with a pencil did produce the numbers on the screen properly. As a workaround, I inserted small scraps of paper under each of the keys to "tighten" the space between the keys and the base. This fixed the problem completely. This may have been singular to my experience, as stuck keys are extremely frustrating. Consumers may understandably be hesitant, but for me, the issue was fixable and the result is a perfectly functioning device.
Ultimately, the Insignia ergonomic keyboard has some features and flaws that overshadow its comfort and form. While the keyboard itself is nice and now functions properly, I would probably look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With self-emptying technology, room-mapping, and automated scheduling, the latest Roomba j9+ from iRobot is truly a "set it and forget it" cleaning machine. Program it to do a cleaning job, whether it be for carpet vacuuming or hardwood floor mopping, and watch as it adapts and learns how to navigate your living space. Over time, the Roomba j9+ will become an invaluable addition to your home.
One thing that stands out when compared to other robot vacuums and even to previous editions of iRobot Roombas is how quiet the j9+ is. The noisiest part of this device is when the base station is cleaning out the Roomba or when it is refilling the water bin. Otherwise, it is hardly noticeable as it roams around, tackling different surfaces and making automatic adjustments to the cleaning job. The charging base itself isn't an eyesore, with a dark black body and a brown wood-colored top surface that doubles as a side table if you desire. In my living space, the base station sits in the living room and has access to a dining area and kitchen. The surfaces vary among a high pile rug, low pile rug, wood flooring, and tile, but the j9+ addresses each surface as it rolls over it. This device has both vacuum and mopping capabilities, and it interchanges between these two types of jobs seamlessly based on the surface or the job you've inputted for it on the iRobot app.
For the most part, cleaning jobs have been "out of sight, out of mind." Once a job is started or a scheduled one begins, the j9+ performs it well, and when completed, I get a notification on the app along with some interesting job notes like updated room maps and statistics like cleaning time, dirt events, and cleaning area size. The only times you really need to pay much attention to it is if you get an error message from when it sucks up something big by accident (like a towel on the floor, big Lego pieces, etc.), or when you need to empty out the dirt bin in the base or refill the water bin. It really is a robot for the home!
The device maps the layout of its entire cleaning surface; for the first few jobs, the Roomba will experience the back and forth, trial and error business of rolling through areas multiple times while it gets to know your rooms. It will sense objects or stairs in front of it and learn move around and away from those areas over time. For example, by the third time through my living room and kitchen area, the Roomba was going edge to edge and navigating tight corners without having to bump into walls or backtracking too much over already clean areas. And the map is constantly being populated and updated, tracking the areas appropriate for mopping or pointing out high focus cleaning areas where the Roomba noticed it was working harder.
Most jobs last around under an hour, but you can send the Roomba home to its base whenever you like. The j9+ knows when it needs to empty its dirt bin, refill its water bin, or recharge its battery to truly leave the cleaning to itself and allow you to worry about literally anything else. And in all honesty, isn't this the reason you got a robot vacuum in the first place? The iRobot Roomba j9+ is truly a cleaning luxury for any household, and the time it saves you from doing the mundane job of vacuuming is its own reward. Highly, highly recommended.

A reliable dash cam is a must, and the Nextbase iQ 2K smart dash cam has the features and design to give you peace of mind whether you're in your car or not. With a quality camera that utilizes an optional subscription and easy app experience, the iQ 2K camera is a dash cam option for active drivers.
Installed out of sight behind your front rear view mirror, drivers won't need to see the iQ 2K while it does its job, save for the occasional light indicator ring or event notifications. It is very compact and minimally designed to connect to your windshield via a strong adhesive, and its wiring can be tucked away along the edges of your window headlining, door frame, and underneath your instrument panel using the included fitting tool. It includes only one adhesive wire clip and only a few cord zip ties, so you may need to bring in your own or some electrical tape to fully secure your wires out of sight and out of the way. That being said, installing this dash cam was so simple and took less than five minutes to get it up and running.
Unlike some other dash cams that use up your car's auxiliary power outlet, the Nextbase iQ 2K plugs straight into your car's OBD port. While this may be conveniently out of sight in most cars, some cars' ports are not well-suited for the plug if it hides behind a panel or sticks out more than they would like. I tested the iQ 2K on two cars (SUVs) and it would only fit in one of them properly; in the other car, I would have needed to keep the OBD panel off for it to fit, thereby exposing other internal wires which may have had potentially dangerous results. Nextbase does provide a secondary option to hardwire the dash cam to your car, but if you're like me, you may prefer not to or may not be comfortable around a car enough to install it this way. It would have been nice to include an auxiliary power cable option to alleviate this issue.
Operationally, the Nextbase iQ 2K works wonderfully. After installing the app, you can see live events in crystal clear view, with very good night visibility as well for both the front-facing and cabin-facing cameras. The microphone catches all the sounds and noises, which will be useful during any impact events. The iQ 2K has several features built-in to give you peace of mind while you drive and while you're away from your car. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB micro-SD card. With Roadwatch AI, the recorded screen video shows the speed and approximate distance cars are around you. Phone notifications alert you when there are parking or impact events around your car even when parked, and you can access the camera outside of the car on your phone at any time. And with the optional Nextbase subscription, this includes all recorded data and history events. It even utilizes a "Witness Mode" option, which will share live footage with an emergency contact who can access your camera and assist if needed. All of these features add up to make a reliable dash cam you can be confident has its eyes on the road with and without you.
The Nextbase iQ 2K smart dash cam is a great option for all drivers. It does the job you want from a dash cam to give you peace of mind in and out of your car.

can you charge the wii u with the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent still on?
is it a perfect fit on the wii u gamepad cradle that comes with the deluxe wii u bundle, or is it a bit too tight or do you have to take off the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent first, then you can charge the wii using the wii u gamepad cradle?
You can charge it on the cradle without taking off the casing. The case is designed to have enough open space near its bottom where the gamepad will rest on the cradle.
