It's nice to come across a product now and then that actually does what it says it will. This tracks everything from the caloric burn, heart rate, steps taken, sleep cycle and more. With the ability to set goals with their application really makes you strive to get things done during the day, get to bed on time, and wake up on time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to track such things.

Is it water proof? can I swim in the ocean with it?

The watch is water resistant, not waterproof. They do not recommend swimming with it on but is OK in the shower with limited water exposure.

Does it tell time?

I'm not familiar with fitness watches. In addition to the fitness features does this device also tell time like a conventional watch?
Yes, it not only shows you the time (it's default view), but will also give you the date as well.
