will this connect on wireless network
It's not a smart TV. You will need a Roku box or similar device to connect to a wireless network. A smart blu ray player will also work

can i play vudu downloaded movies from my asus notebook to the tv?
As long as it has a USB port, or your computer has an HDMI port, it shouldn't be a problem.
