This speaker was a great price when I got it, but there is a reason it's always on sale. It doesn't hook up to the internet very easy, and when it does, it doesn't stay connected. I let the battery completely drain and now it won't charge and is always turning off, even when on the charger. The sound quality is great and I love that I can change it with the remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is it Bluetooth? I want to hook a speaker up to my TV via Bluetooth.

No, it is strictly AirPlay.
