The sound is mediocre from these headphones. The higher end models are by far better. I should have just waited a little more to buy the pricier brand. I was not impressed by them if it weren't past the return window, I would totally take them back.
The highs and mids are not that aweesome but the bass is good after you flip the bass controller. I hate the vibration it cheapens the product even more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why are batteries included

What are the batteries for? None of the other headphones mention batteries for anything.
It makes "enhances" the bass. These things are crud.
